Is water Really important to us?

As we know when we are thirsty it doesn’t feel good, but why do we have to be thirsty?
Hmm… our body is comprised of water over 70% of our body weight, our brain is over 75%, blood 80%, and liver, the main filter is 96%.

So our bodies need water to survive, to process its basic functions. All the natural healing and cleansing systems can only work properly with water. Even our nervous system is a system of miniscule waterways.

It has only been recently that the medical community has weighed in on how important water is to normal body function.

Benefits to drinking clean, fresh water, and here are some of the best ones to keep in mind:

1. Our digestive system requires adequate water intake in order to properly work to get the optimal nutrient absorption.

2. It keeps you young by drinking plenty of water keeps your skin moisturized and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
3. It helps to lose weight by preventing fluid retention, making you look slim and trim and suppressing your appetite.

4. It helps to build muscle by working your muscles harder and longer before they feel tired, so it is helpful to keep hydrated throughout the day and not just as you are working out.

5. Remove toxins, if your body lacks water then your heart has to make an extra effort to pump fresh oxygenated blood to your organs, causing severe health issues.

6. To keep your joints young and strong, joints need moisture to remain strong and flexible, so that your movements are smooth and pain-free. With water rather than soda or alcohol during your meal is an easy way to make sure of water intake throughout the day.

7. To assist the healing by drinking more warm water when you are sick normally, but some diseases require less water, so by doctors’ prescription is very important.
