Michael created the theme park for children. There was also a zoo full of exotic animals. Many famous events happened at Neverland Ranch. The ranch was later involved with many scandals, and Michael refused to ever live there again.

Michael Jackson was charged in 2003 with child molestation of a 13-year-old boy. Jackson was accused in 1993 as well of child sexual abuse. He denied the allegations, and it was settled out of court. The 2005 trial lasted four months.

Police searched the entire Neverland Ranch. The jury deliberated over the course of seven days. They returned with a verdict of not guilty on all charges. The jurors stated they found the prosecution’s case week. He never returned to Neverland Ranch, saying police searches had despoiled it.

The Jackson 5 signed with Steeltown Record in 1967 but then left to sign with Motown in 1968. Some of their greatest hits were: “I Want You Back,” “ABC,” and “I’ll Be There.” In 1976 they signed with Epic Records, and Jermaine left the group, with Randy replacing him. After their Victory Tour, the group broke apart.

The police searched Michael’s Neverland Ranch and then, two days later, arrested Michael on charges of child molestation. Jackson was released from jail the same day after posting the three million dollar bail. In 2005, the case went to trial.

Michael was eventually found not guilty of all charges. Michael never lived at Neverland Ranch again; he said he wasn’t home anymore after all of the allegations and the police search. He moved into his home in the Holmby Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles.

The explosion went off too early and caught Michael’s hair and jacket on fire. Michael suffered 2nd and 3rd-degree burns on his scalp. It was on 1.25 acres of land in Los Angeles. Michael rented the house for him and his three children. This house is up for sale for $23.9 million. The home was the home that Michael Jackson lived in while he was preparing for his tour, and it is where he died.

Jackson was taking Propofol at night to sleep and had become addicted to it. The day he died, he reportedly begged his doctor for the Propofol so he could sleep. He was finally given the drug and was later found not breathing. He suffered a cardiac arrest just three weeks before the debut performance of This Is It.

The bad tour was Michael Jackson’s first solo concert tour. The tour spanned about 16 months, including 123 concerts across 15 countries. Bad was nominated for “Tour of the Year 1988” at the inaugural International Rock Awards.

The Bad tour is the largest tour in history and also the highest-grossing concert tour ever. On March 13, 1988, Michael performed a private concert at Madison Square Garden. Michael donated the proceeds to the United Negro College Fund.

In 2011, Murray was formally charged with involuntary manslaughter. He went on trial in Los Angeles and was convicted. He received the maximum penalty of four years in prison, and his medical license was revoked. After serving only two years, Murray was released on parole.

Heal the World Foundation

Heal the World Foundation was started in 1992 by Michael. He airlifted 46 tons of supplies, instituted drug, and alcohol abuse education, and donated millions of dollars to disadvantaged children.

All of the profits from Jackson’s Dangerous World Tour went to Heal the World Foundation. His foundation also brought underprivileged children to Michael’s Neverland Ranch to go on theme park rides.

Michael Jackson was known to be very insecure about his looks, especially with his skin condition Vitiligo. He also didn’t like his nose; he thought it was too big. His autopsy revealed a lot, like there was semi-permanent tattooed ink over the lips and the border of the lips, which explains the pink shade of his lips.

His nose, originally wide, became thin and narrowed over time. His autopsy showed that he did have multiple surgeries and facelifts. Part of his insecurities also came from his father, who would call him big nose growing up.

Michael Jackson was given an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters from HBCU, Fisk University. He was given this honor because of his donations to the United Negro College Fund. At the gala, Whitney Houston sang the Black National Anthem, Lift Ev’ry Voice and Sing.

Bubbles, The Monkey

Bubbles was a Chimpanzee and Michael Jackson’s pet. Michael bought him from a Texas research facility. Bubbles traveled with Michael during the Bad world tour, and he drank tea with Jackson in Japan.

Bubbles, the chimp, slept in an infant crib in Michael’s bedroom, used Jackson’s toilet, and ate candy in Neverland’s movie theater. When he matured into a large and aggressive chimp, he was sent to an animal trainer. Bubbles was moved to a sanctuary in 2005. He is still alive at 35 years old.

Michael Jackson’s memorial was on July 7, 2009, at Staples Center. There were about 20,000 people at his memorial and millions more watching it live. Performances or eulogies were given by Mariah Carey, Lionel Richie, Stevie Wonder, Jennifer Hudson, John Mayer, Usher, Shaheen Jafargholi.
